Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern access to and use of this site. By using it you confirm that you have read them, understood them and accept them as they stand at the moment of your visit. They take effect from that visit, and they cover every page, including the supporting pages linked in the footer. If you do not accept any part of them, the appropriate response is to stop reading and leave. Revisions are possible and are described near the end of this page.
What this service is, and what it is not
This site is an independent informational resource about advertising platforms that sell popunder and related inventory. It publishes research, comparisons and commentary based on those platforms' own published documentation.
It is not an advertising network, a supply-side or demand-side platform, an agency or a payment service. It does not sell traffic, buy traffic on your behalf, hold balances, run campaigns, serve creatives or process payouts.
It has no access to any account you may hold with any platform mentioned on it, and no ability to influence a moderation decision, a payout, a bid or an account status.
Every decision to open an account, fund it or spend on it is yours alone.
The platforms named on pages such as Popunder Ad Networks publish their own terms, and those terms govern your relationship with them entirely. Nothing on this site forms part of any agreement between you and any platform.
Eligibility
The content here addresses commercial advertising decisions. Advertising platforms generally require account holders to be at least 18 years old and to have capacity to enter a binding contract, and this site is written on the assumption that its readers meet those requirements. If you are acting for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. Nothing on this site is directed at children, and no part of it is intended for anyone who cannot lawfully contract with an advertising platform in their own jurisdiction.
Commercial links and how this site is paid
This site contains commercial links to advertising platforms, in buttons and in the body text. If you open an account through one of them, this site may receive compensation from that platform. Clicking such a link costs you nothing and does not change the terms the platform offers you. The platform pays it, you do not, and no deposit floor, fee or rate quoted on the platform's own site moves because of it.
The commercial relationship determines which platform is recommended and where the links sit. It does not determine what the research says. Documented weaknesses of the recommended platform are published alongside its strengths, competing platforms' verified advantages are stated as advantages, and no figure is altered or omitted because it is commercially inconvenient. The standard behind that is set out in the editorial policy and the arrangement itself is described on the about page.
Accuracy, verification dates and their limits
Figures published here are checked against platform documentation on the date shown in each page's byline.
That check is the substance of what this site offers. It is also the limit of what the site can promise, and the two facts are inseparable.
Deposit floors, payout thresholds, hold periods, payment methods, supported formats and optimization features can change the day after a page is published, usually without an announcement. No warranty is given that any figure remains current at the moment you read it, and none is given that a platform's documentation was itself accurate.
Before committing money, confirm the current terms in the platform's own documentation and inside your account. The pages here are a starting point for that check and are not a substitute for it.
Where a platform publishes nothing on a point, the pages say so, and an absence recorded here means the information is unpublished, and says nothing about what the platform actually does behind the account.
No professional advice
Content on this site is research and commentary for people making their own commercial decisions. It is not financial, legal, tax or other professional advice, and reading it creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship of any kind. Advertising results depend on offers, creatives, targeting, competition and market conditions that vary between buyers and over time. No figure, benchmark or observation published here is a prediction of your results, and none of it should be treated as a projection of return.
Acceptable use
You may read, quote and link to these pages. Short quotations with a visible link back to the source need no permission and are welcome.
What is out of bounds: interfering with the availability of the site, probing it for vulnerabilities, placing automated load on it beyond ordinary reading and indexing, presenting its material as your own, republishing pages in full, or reproducing them in a form that competes with the original.
Intellectual property
The text, original tables, structure, design and code of this site are the intellectual property of its operator or are used under licence. Reproduction of substantial portions without written permission is not permitted.
Names, trademarks and logos of the advertising platforms discussed belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary only. Their appearance implies no endorsement of this site by them, and no endorsement of them by this site beyond what the text explicitly states.
Claims of copyright infringement should be sent to the general inbox with enough detail to identify the material concerned.
Third-party sites
Outbound links point to documents and services controlled by other organisations, including advertising platforms, standards bodies, regulators and research publishers. Their availability, accuracy, security and terms are their responsibility. Following such a link is at your own risk, and the destination's own terms and privacy policy apply from the moment you arrive. A link here is a citation, not an endorsement of the linked organisation.
Limitation of liability
This site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for losses arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. That includes advertising spend that did not return, budget committed on the basis of a figure that changed after publication, and any loss of profit, data or opportunity. The operator is likewise not liable for the acts or omissions of any advertising platform, including refusal of a payout, suspension of an account, rejection of a creative, changes to published terms, or the quality of traffic delivered. Nor is the operator liable for interruptions to the availability of this site.
Access to this site is free of charge, so no fee has been paid against which liability could be measured. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnity
If your use of this site causes a claim against its operator, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of dealing with it. In practice this covers a narrow set of situations: republishing material from here without permission, misrepresenting what a page says in order to promote something, or using the site in a way that breaches the acceptable use section above.
This does not apply to anything arising from the operator's own conduct, including an error in published research.
Errors of that kind go through the correction process in the editorial policy. They are not passed to a reader.
Severability, waiver and the whole agreement
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is treated as removed and the remainder continues to apply. A single unenforceable clause does not invalidate the rest of the document. Not enforcing a term on one occasion is not a waiver of it. The operator may still rely on that term later.
These terms, together with the privacy policy, form the whole of the agreement between you and the operator regarding use of this site. They replace any earlier version and any informal understanding. Nothing said in correspondence overrides them unless it is confirmed in writing as a variation.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised at any time. The current version is always the one on this page, the date in the byline shows when it last changed, and continued use after a revision means accepting the revised version.
A material change to how the site is funded would also show up on the about page.
Governing law and contact
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection available to you where you live.
Before any formal step, please raise the matter at the general inbox so that it can be resolved directly; most issues turn out to be factual and are settled by a correction. Data questions go to the privacy inbox and are covered by the privacy policy, editorial questions are covered by the editorial policy, and all contact routes are listed on the contact page.
